Meet The Doctors

Dr. Marisol Ruiz Ahumada, D.C.
Chiropractor
Education: Southern California University of Health Sciences
Dr. Marisol Ruiz Ahumada graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She participated in several studies that were conducted in her field of study at her University. During her time in undergraduate studies, she met a chiropractor who changed her perspective on the potential of the human body and its healing ability. Hoping to expand her knowledge and aspire to one day do for others what her chiropractor was able to accomplish for her, she decided to become a chiropractor herself. She attended Southern California University of Health Sciences and graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic. During her three and half years at graduate school, Dr. Marisol received training in a variety of techniques such as Webster Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Contact Reflex Analysis and Mastery Love Service. She also got the opportunity to lobby for chiropractic rights in Washington, D.C. as Chapter President of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA). She was also the Senior Coordinator of the Professional Student Coaching Program at her school for 4 consecutive terms. She completed her year's internship at a chiropractic office that specializes in pediatrics and a second year at a chiropractic office that focused on spinal corrective care. Working at The Joint Chiropractic allows her to do what she loves most, help others attain their optimal potential through the removal of the subluxation. Her goal is to reach as many people as possible and inform them that chiropractic is about freeing up the nerve so that the body may function as it was intended and therefore reach its optimal potential. When not in the office, Dr. Marisol prefers to spend her time outdoors, whether that be biking, hiking, swimming, or just going for a walk with her dogs. Crafting is another one of her favorite pastimes.

Dr. Juan Pablo Ahumada, D.C.
Chiropractor
Education: Southern California University of Health Sciences
Dr. Juan Pablo Ahumada graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS). During his time at SCUHS, Dr. Pablo was on the executive board of the Applied Kinesiology and R2P (Rehab to Performance) clubs. He also attended a variety of seminars including Contact Reflex Analysis, 100 Hour Applied Kinesiology course, and MLS (Mastery, Love, Service) Adjusting Seminar. Dr. Pablo completed an internship at a sports medicine and rehabilitation chiropractic office, as well as a preceptorship and post-ceptorship at a corrective-care chiropractic office in Manhattan Beach, CA, during which he acquired a vast amount of experience removing subluxations and helping patients improve their spinal health. His chiropractic journey began after a soccer injury led him to a chiropractor in Marietta, GA. This experience changed the way he looked at chiropractic, the human body, and one's body innate ability to heal. His goal is to help patients by removing nerve interference and allowing their bodies to function at their optimal potential. Before attending SCUHS, Dr. Pablo graduated from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. He enjoys spending his free time watching and playing soccer, going to the gym and playing with his dogs.
